Reasons for no Homework!
Projects
If you want to have a project, you have to make sure they have a weekend to do it, if you put it as daily homework then, if anyone even completes it on time, nobody will have spent very much time on it, because they wanted to play games then work "on the dumb project" even if it is fun, they won't of spent a lot of time and effort and will come out horrible, no good grade etc..
Games
Instead of doing your Homework you should be having fun playing chess, checkers, other board games or websites like funbrain.org, addictinggames.com and other websites, there fun and defiantly not inappropriate, like it should be, although it supposedly hurts your eyes to play on the computer, when you type up your documents your hurt your eyes then to.

If you'd like a little bit more reasoning than what I gave you in Games, here are some: Homework is boring, easy, time-wasting etc.. If you waste your time on doing your homework all the time then you won't ever be able to figure out what fun really is. If you ask me the most important thing about life, what makes it important enough to live, is fun, and homework makes it hard to have some fun.

Adding Fun
Without adding some fun into your daily life many people go crazy of boredom, and thats how you get sicko, no-good, murderers, boredom. It's one thing humans are vulnerable to, boredom. Boredom makes your brain sleepy and then you think fuzzy and then you forget about right and wrong, mean and nice, acceptable and unacceptable.
